Criminal Law - I

The course acquaints and helps the students with Legislative Analysis and Case Comments with IRAC Method and to embark upon different rules of interpretation.Students would be learning methods of doing doctrinal and non-doctrinal research. These skills would help students in future as tocriminal law implementation or enactment or interpretation for a crime-less society.

Constitutional Law - I

This paper is planned for curriculum delivery, with a view to educate the pupil about the Constitutional rights, duties and policies of the government underlining the relevant legislations which are having wider ramification on the interpretation of the provisions of the Constitution. The students, to have an in-depth knowledge on Directive principles of State Policy, Fundamental duties and their inter-relationship would be given necessary TLP methods.

Corporate Law - I

The course acquaints the students with awareness about current policy trends and developments in company law and to help forenhancing skills in legal reasoning for functioning of company as a legal structure of business. Pre- Satyam and post- Satyam period would be analysed for further follow-up action and meet global standards.

Environmental Law

This course requires one to have adequate knowledge about eco-system and its significance as appreciated in ancient India for the purpose of having critical appraisal of various special laws at both national and international level and give adequate knowledge for taking decisions in furtherance of eco-system either as an administrator or as an adjudicator in various dimensions.

Law of Evidence

Indian legal system with reference to Criminal Law adopted adversarial system, wherein the prosecution has to prove the guilt of accused unless contra indicated. Under civil law also one who assert has to prove the fact in issue. This philosophy would be the concept behind conveying various principles concerning proof of both statements and documents for claiming relief. Student has to develop critical appraisal of existing legal systems.
